Sept. 9th
The rock ledge pictured below, which flanks the Cut Bank Creek, is part of a 100 million year old geological formation. These same rocks can be seen all the way from and above Milk River, Canada all the way to and even beyond Billings, Montana. An inland sea is given credit for their formation and a layer of earth, that covers all but the ones exposed by erosion, has protected them over this vast time period. Newz Blast will have a feature article about this North American wonder in the near future.
