The last remaining private home on 10th Ave. South disappears. On a street where once stood dozens of houses which were homes to families now there are none. Pictured below is the last hold out as it quickly gives way to the machine destroying it. This house, at 10th Ave. S. and 7th St. S. with one other small house and the Village Motor Inn motel are being cleared for new development. There will be a new motel and a new location for Hastings which is presently across the street and up a few blocks.

Work restoring the historic 10th Street bridge is starting to show what the project was started for in the first place. Many people said the restoration would never happen and or it was not worth the time and money, but look below and you can begin the imagine what a treasure this bridge is and will be to Great Falls. Newz Blast was granted this exclusive first walk on the new surface so we could bring you this view from on the new deck. What you see is all new including the hundreds of balusters that will line the completed structure. We will continue to bring you more about this great phoenix rising from the ashes story.
