June 13th,
The Civic Center area of Central is really coming alive. New businesses are moving in and current ones have worked hard to improve the look and feel of that area. That part of downtown now has a cosmopolitan atmosphere with quiant shops and sidewalk cafes. Below, the Hudspeth family were out enjoying a lunch at Baker Bob's Big Stack cafe.

June 9th,
Canadians take over Great Falls... Well, at least some Canadian geese have. About six geese and over 100 of their chicks regularly stop traffic on the river road near the Milwaukee Depot. They fearlessly travel back and forth across the road making motorists squeal to a stop. So, be sure to go slow on that road next time because these geese own it...

June 2nd,
The Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center expands to meet demand. The L & C Center parking area is going thru major rebuilding. When complete the parking lot will be about three times larger and will have other improvements. Among those improvements will be more walkways and lighting. This will also help to solve the bus/RV parking problem that has snarled the original parking lot.

May 31st,
Another one of the busiest crosstown streets in Great Falls is closed. 9th St. South to 10th Ave. South is closed for repaving and should be back open by late next week. With all of the many businesses on that street, how fast it will be back open is surely what's on the mind of every business owner. When a street like this closes patrons have to find creative ways to drive to those businesses.
