Pedestrian vs. Car Accident, On Main St.

Ambulance and two Sheriff's Dept. patrol cars were dispatched to Main St today where there was the scene of and accident between a pedestrian and a car. NBMC was told by a gentleman at the site that a man with a walker was crossing the street when the car struck him. The driver of a late model Cadillac was making a right turn onto Main at the intersection next to Well Drug Store. See second photo below for the car.
The driver was taken to the Sheriff's office for questioning and the pedestrian was taken to Marias Medical Center for treatment.
Update:
The pedestrian crossing the street was 79 year old, Lyle Keller of Shelby and the driver of the car was 55 year old, Vivian McDermott also of Shelby. The only know citation that McDermott received was for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
