Fuel Prices Inch Down

After rocketing up, fuel prices are now inching down. Most feel that the decline in the economy is slowing the demand for fuel forcing oil companies to reduce their price. That explanation makes sense. When people have less money they have to cut the amount of driving to save fuel. People put off or cancel trips that they see as unnecessary. Besides the banking problems, rising fuel prices have a huge effect on the economy. Everything delivered to you by boat, train or truck is affected. Just look at the increased prices at your favorite stores. Farmers, ranchers and manufacturers have increased costs due to fuel, pushing prices up.
