House on the Move

Steve Hoskins General Contractor, Inc. moved a two story house. The house was previously located at 574 Cottage Street, Salem, Oregon. The house found its way from Cottage Street to State Street. It was parked at 2580 State Street. Due to the size of the house the streets traveled were lined with no parking signs. Due to height of the structure utilities were called in to assist in moving the television, cable, phone, and power lines. The traffic signals had to be removed from the poles as the house crossed the intercessions. Comment at the link below.
