Wolflord Leather & Old Wolf Canes and Staffs
About Wolflord Leather:
Greetings and hello, around the community, many know me as the Viking. I am begining specialization in dress accessories, armguards, collars, other simpler and sometimes more detialed projects. I strive to make things you won't find at hottopic or any other conventional place I work with a wide variety of hides- buckskin, leather, suede and furs. As well as many options for customization for studs, stamps, sewing and colors. Price estimates are given upon request, larger/more exotic projects (over $40) require a deposit and communication will be consistent as to progress and details of creation. Things of the armguard and collar sort are fairly simple and I can make easily, things like shoulderpads and harnesses require more detailed measurement, so for those outside of meeting distance, I cannot promise great quality on such things. For canes and staffs, I will soon be posting pictures of more or less "plain" staffs that can be cut down for cane, optioned to have designs burned or dyed in and the embedding or stones (best if you provide stone and other materials to go on it) Also, to find out more about my work just click the link below.

Pass Bill 757 -- Protect our blind and deaf schools

Rarely can a few phone calls make a big difference in a child's life, but today we have the opportunity to change the future of many generations of our Deaf and Blind children to come, because today we can insist that Bill 757 becomes law.
In a nutshell, Bill 757 will give the deaf and Blind communties represention with the Board of Education when important decisions are made concerning their children's schools. Currently they are governed by, and at the mercy of, administrators who are largely uniformed of the special needs of these children and their families. Even the pirvate donors have no say in how their money is spent. Considering that Oregon has no other resources for these children, I believe that their parents and their communities should have shared control in the decision-making process over policy/programs & staff.
There is a plan in motion right now to sell the Blind school and to force the children to be moved to the Deaf school. The proceeds of the sale will be put into the state's general fund without any portion being set asideto revamp the Deaf school, which will take an estimated 27 million dollars. It is not only fiscally irresponsible to the tax payer, but it is morally wrong for the children to upset their residential, cultural, and eductional enviroment. Everyone will suffer the consequences.
If you are concerned about this issue, you have very little time left to make a 15-second call to say that you support 757c. It is an easy thing to do. Our silence is a vote for more oppression. to be heard, call 503-986-1720 or503-986-1436 or 503-986-1600. Feedback welcomed. jtaylo38@cp.chemeketa.edu Comment at the link below.
