Clinton Rally at Chemeketa

Hundreds of people gathered to hear Mr. Bill Clinton. People gather inside and outside of building 50 on Chemeketa Community College's campus to hear about Hillary Clinton's plans. He talked about College education assistance and the military and the need to end the War in Iraq. The fire marshal had the building to capacity and Marion County Sheriff Deputies assisted the Secret Services in maintaining the peace and flow of people. People parked anywhere they could some sat in their vehicles in the parking lot lanes just to hear the former president speak. The line of people at noon stretched two block and the rally did not start until about 2:00 p.m. Mr Clinton finished his speech at 3:00 p.m. He now moves on to Bend this afternoon.
