The all new Ringside Ribs is more than ribs. They have a complete menu; a well stocked bar and a casino. They are open seven days a week, 11 AM to 10 PM and located just behind Town Pump. Call them at 424-7427.

Don and the rest of the crew are unpacked from the old store and ready to help you with all your auto and shop needs. The big new and bright building is located at 100 Main St. just across from the Shelby Visitor Center. Phone them at 434-5551.

The 2006 Fireman's Picnic

Picnic goers where once again everywhere at the annual Fireman's Picnic held each year at the firehall in Shelby. A long line formed at about 11:45 AM and continued until after 1:00 PM. The usual Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, baked beans, cake and ice cream were dished up on a donation basis. This event, popular with seniors, also brings out a wide range of ages as well as city and rural people. It is the main place everyone gets to see and visit with those you, "just haven't seen all year."
