Jon Tester To Visit Shelby

Jon Tester, who is running for the U.S. Senate, will be in Shelby Saturday, Sept. 16th to conduct a "Doorknocking" campaign. The meet and greet will start at 2:00 PM. No start location has been announced. Tester will also be in Havre Sat. for the Havre Festival Days Pancake Breakfest at the VFW Hall starting at 8:30 AM and that events Parade starting at 10:00 AM. When finished in Shelby, Jon will then return to Havre stopping off at Chester for a "listening session" at Spud's Cafe starting at 5:00 PM. Once back in Havre he will attend the Havre Democrats Festival Dinner at the Eagles Club starting at 7:00 PM. Jon Tester was born in Havre, Montana on August 21, 1956. If successful in his Fall campaign, he would take over the Senate seat currently held by Conrad Burns.
